I have been BUSY this past week!
Being an author is a strange thing. There’s the writing side of things, obviously. But then there’s this whole other beast called “marketing.” I’ve been thinking a lot lately about marketing, and what I need to do to make sure I can keep at this writing gig full-time. Which brings me to some changes… CHANGE #1: The No Match for Love series is now THREE series! That’s right–I’ve split the series into 3. (That’s literally all that’s changed–the books, titles, and covers are the exact same for now.) There are a lot of boring, businessy reasons why I did it, but the short version is it makes it easier to sell books and make money so that I can keep writing. 😊 The “No Match for Love series” now includes the 5 full-length novels in that world! (Books 200+ pages long.) That means it now houses Miss Match, Not Your Match, Mix ‘N Match, Match Me if You Can, and Matched by Design. And I’ve put the books together into a box set, where you can get all five books (1,700 pages of reading) at a STEEP discount over the individual titles, and in one easy download! It’s also FREE in Kindle Unlimited. Grab the No Match for Love Collection! The next series in the No Match for Love universe is the “Another Match for Love series,” which contains the 6 shorter reads in the series (books between 100 – 200 pages long): Strike a Match, Never Say Match, Match Me Again, Mistakenly Matched, My Fake Match, and Meet Your Match. These 6 books are now also available in a convenient box set (over 1,000 pages of reading!), which you can download HERE. Grab the Another Match for Love Collection! The third series is the “No Match for Love Christmas series” which contains–you guessed it!–the two holiday additions to the universe: Mistletoe Match and Match Me by Christmas. (This was released as a box set last year, and you can grab it HERE.) I did make a fun character map and chronological timeline of the books in the No Match for Love universe. If you’re interested, you can view it HERE on my website. 🙂 These changes might seem like semantics, but trust me, they are very important and helpful on the marketing side of things. Which brings me to the next change… CHANGE #2: The Kiss Me Series is complete with 2 books. I know some of you have been waiting for Kiss Me in a Blizzard for a very long time. I was hopeful I would finally finish it this year, but as I started digging into the story, it became more and more obvious that it has some serious issues that are going to take a lot of time and energy to fix. It also became more and more clear to me that this story would best be told separate from the Kiss Me series, with characters not connected to that world. The 2 current books in the series are romances with light suspense, but Kiss Me in a Blizzard (which will eventually get a new title) is really a dark suspense novel with a romance subplot, which made it even more obvious it needs to be a story on its own. So, I’m calling the Kiss Me series done with Kiss Me in the Moonlight and Kiss Me in the Rain! And I’ve also released it as a box set, which you can get HERE. Grab the Kiss Me Collection! I still plan to fix and finish Kiss Me in a Blizzard, but no timeline… I’m enjoying the Second Chances in Sapphire Cove series so much and am focusing on that for now. So, phew! 3 box sets created and published in one week. I’m tired. 😉 These box sets are also looking a little lonely. If you’ve ready any of these books, I would LOVE IT if you’d leave an honest review on Amazon. 🙂 You don’t have to have read the entire collection–just make sure you specific in the review which books you have read and are reviewing. Thank you so much for all of your support! Now I’d better get back to editing Promise to Stay. 😉
