Basement Pictures
The basement is FINALLY DONE! (Well, like 99% done. Ignore the unpainted closet doors and general clutter in some areas that needs to be tidied up.) We also moved around some furniture and redecorated the living room upstairs a bit. This project has been 15 months in the making. We have done 95% of it ourselves–just my amazing hubby, me (his hapless assistant), and the twins. It’s been a lot of long weekends and late evenings. My poor kids are so sick of this project, and so are we. But Neil is a freaking rock star. He seriously can do anything, and the basement looks fantastic.
Writing Update
Needless to say, writing has taken a bit of a back-burner recently. 😂 So has reading. And sleeping. And pretty much anything that isn’t kid or house related. Honestly, it’s going to be that way for a while longer. We’ve got some big changes coming up in our lives that are taking my attention, but I will get back to work soon! I’m still hoping to have both Kiss Me in a Blizzard and Matched by Design published before the end of the year!Book Corner
I do have a new book I want to tell you about! I’m a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan, so this doctor hero certainly caught my eye!
