What have I been reading?

One of my goals right now is to waste less time and read more books, in a wide variety of genres and by lots of different authors. I deleted all the social media apps from my phone (haven’t missed them at all!) and I’m spending a lot more time on my kindle as a result. I’ve read a few books this year so far, and here are two I think you might enjoy!

I don’t read mysteries very often, but I’ve enjoyed the Sadie Hoffmiller series since the first book. I’m about halfway through The Candy Cane Caper, and it definitely holds up to the other books in the series. Sadie and her antics are the same as ever! It is book 13 in the series, but I think you could read it as a stand-alone and not be lost. If you want to dip a toe into cozy mystery, give this one a try.

FIND OUT MORE

This is the start of a new series by Lucy McConnell, and it’s similar to her Billionaire Marriage Brokers series that I really enjoyed. This had a lot of the same things I loved about that series, and the first book was a lot of fun. It’s a clean modern marriage-of-convenience story that I think is right up your alley! I’ll definitely be reading book 2 when it releases.

FIND OUT MORE When I polled you months ago, you said that you wanted a small town romance series next, and you wanted it set on the Oregon coast. Well, that’s exactly what I’ve been working on lately! Starting with a prequel that I’m going to give every single person on my newsletter list for FREE! Remember Cheyenne and Zach, the bride and groom that Kelsey and Bryce worked with in Mistakenly Matched? Well, this prequel is the story of how they meet and fell in love! It’s set in the fictional town of Sapphire Cove, Oregon, and I think you’re going to love it. No date yet on when I’ll send it out. 🙂 One of my other goals right now is to stop stressing myself out with deadlines, so I’m taking things one day at a time. But I hope to let you read it soon! Stay tuned. signature 2
