Books, Books, Books

This summer has been the FIRST summer where my boys have the ability to feed themselves breakfast. (Cereal for the win!) They also know that, once I’m up and moving, I’ll make them turn off the television and go play. The result has been them leaving me alone in the mornings. This has literally never happened before, and the result has been me staying in bed later and later every morning to read. At first it was 8 o’clock. Not too bad, I reasoned. Then it was 9. Well, it’s summer, I told myself. Then it was ten… I just love reading so much. I love my bed so much haha.

But I am also getting some good work done, in between all my relaxing. 😉 This has honestly been the most chill summer I remember since I started publishing, and it’s been a nice change of pace!

The Pretend Princess is DONE and ready for release on August 1st! I’m also making some great progress on Mistakenly Matched (the re-release of First Love, Second Choice) and I’m so excited. I had forgotten how much I love this story. How’s your summer going?
