Wonhundred Word Wednesdays

I had a lot of fun writing this week’s prompt and kind of want to see where this story goes. Enjoy!
You find a box in the attic that isn’t yours…
Elli blew bangs out of her eyes and reached for the next box. She wished she could wait for the pain to dull before going through Amy’s stuff, but the house needed to be sold now.
So far, all she’d found in the dusty attic was junk—broken furniture, old clothes, that sort of thing. Most would go in the trash.
Elli opened the box and gasped. Slowly she pulled out a tiara dripping in jewels. It was the one from the news. The one that had been stolen from the museum last week.

The night before her sister’s death.

See what the others had to say!
